Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)

PROF is an Education Improvement Organization.  Businesses who wish to contribute to PROF may receive a tax credit from the Commonwealth of PA.  For eligibility and application information, click here for the PA Department of Community & Economic Development business guidelines.

United Way of Allegheny County

UnitedWayOfAlleghenyCounty.pngThere are many employers nationwide who offer the United Way Donor Option Program as a way for employees to give back to specific charities.  PROF is designated as a Donor Option with the United Way of Allegheny County. PROF’s Donor Option number is 921848.

Matching Gift

Many employers offer a matching gift program whereby they will match their employees’ and sometimes retirees’ contributions to a nonprofit organization. Contact your human resources department to find out if they have a matching gift program.  If they do, they will give you a form to complete and send to PROF. We will do the rest.

Targeted Campaign

At various times throughout the year, PROF may run a specific fundraising campaign for a targeted need within the Pine-Richland School District.  Donors can contribute directly to that campaign at that time.

Donors may establish a scholarship to be awarded to a graduating Pine-Richland High School senior(s) based upon the donor’s specified guidelines.  PROF will assist in the design, collection and evaluation of the scholarship application. The winner is announced at the annual recognition ceremony for Pine-Richland seniors.  Because this option can be tailored to a donor’s specifications, PROF will work with you to develop a donation and distribution plan.

Alternative Options

When donors have specific ideas for options that are not indicated above for the creation of a fund, PROF will work with you to develop those interests. These may include named endowments, estate planning, funded internships or other partnership opportunities.
