This scholarship is in memory of Kyle Pomerleau, tertiary of the PRHS class of 2014, who passed away from brain cancer in July, 2014.  At Pine-Richland, Kyle played cello in the orchestra and bassoon and saxophone in band. Kyle was president of Model UN, and a member of student government, National Honor Society, and the cultural diversity club. He was also a member of the fencing team and did jumping events on the track and field team.  Kyle will always be remembered by his peers for loving the color orange, but more importantly, for his positive attitude throughout his illness and for the kindness and respect he showed his peers throughout his high school years. 

This scholarship is awarded to a Pine-Richland senior who has participated in band and/or orchestra in grades 9-12, is a strong student, and demonstrates genuine kindness to others in the classroom and school environment.
